Fresh Water Ecology

Freshwater habitats range from glaciers in the mountains, down to lowland rivers and streams that flow into estuaries. They include lakes, rivers, streams, some wetlands, cave systems, geothermal areas and underground aquifers.

The SSI Fresh Water Ecology program provides all that you need to identify diverse and unique range of freshwater species, habitats, and ecosystems.

Upon completion, you’ll earn your SSI Freshwater Ecology Specialty certification.
